The Texas Values Action team released its 2017 Faith and Family Scorecard this week. The Faith and Family Scorecard is the only accountability tool of its kind in Texas, as it measures how state legislators performed in the regular and special session on a variety of issues impacting religious freedom, marriage and family, life, and privacy, as well as other important pro-family values.

LIFT America gatherings provide an extraordinary opportunity to come together with others like us who love God and care about kids.
Watermark Plano held a summer co-ed Bible study entitled WISDOM for our Modern World in July 2017. This study explored the Christian Worldview and the proper response to current topics that Christians may encounter. Pray Stand Act supported this study by providing input for the session on Politics.

Pray Stand Act sponsored a booth at the 2014 Fallfest in Sachse, Texas.
Pray Stand Act arranged the 2014 National Day of Prayer celebration in Sachse, Texas. One of the high points was prayer led by Mayor Mike Felix.
Encouraging fellow believers to stand for biblical principles in the public square. Fantastic team of volunteers showed up to to help out. Signed up over 100 Dallas County voters and handed out Collin County registration mailers. Also provided materials on resources for voting bilbical values.
On November 19, 2013 we held a meeting between Sachse area pastors and Rafael Cruz. Pastor Cruz presented his message that the Church has separated itself from our governement and that the result has been moral decay and lawlessness. He encourages pastors to challenge the Johnson Amendment and become actively engaged in reclaiming the ground of government for Christ.
On July 20, 2013 Pray Stand Act presented a 3 hour seminar at the Watermark Community Church Training Day. The training was organized around the 3-step action plan: Pray, Stand, Act.
Patti organized the National Day of Prayer for Sachse on May 2, 2013. Despite wind chills in the 30's, about 30 people showed up to pray for our nation, state, county, and city. Joining us were several area pastors and Mayor Mike Felix of Sachse.
